Sunday Worship 10:15am In-Person and live Youtube livestream

The Mission of Northfield Presbyterian Church is to demonstrate God's love and bring people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Together, we accomplish our mission through prayer, worship, the study of God's Word, and service to others. (Acts2:42)

Worship at NPC is in the Reformed tradition. We have a Christ-centered focus with the Word of God, both read and preached. The congregation is a blend of all ages, intermingling casual attire with more formal dress. The music combines traditional hymns with contemporary songs and choruses. The piano and organ are regularly accompanied by guitar, flute or chimes.

Following worship each week we have a fellowship time for people to continue with one another what the Lord begins in our worship service in order to strengthen our ties with the body of Christ.

Worship Time

10:15 a.m. (weekly)

Nursery care is available for the worship service.

Kids Only Worship (KOW) is a special time during our worship for children 4 years old to 5th grade. Children leave the sanctuary together with their teachers.

The Sacraments

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month and on special holidays. The Lord's Table is open to those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, as John's Gospel records, to all who received him, to those who believe in his name…(John 1:12). We do not make denominational distinctions.

Baptism, for infants and adults is celebrated when requested. Requests for baptism must be made through the church office. Parents desiring baptism for their children must profess faith in Jesus Christ and preferably and normally be members of NPC. Upon receiving counsel with the pastor, the Board of Elders (Session) will then act upon the request by the parents. Adults requesting baptism will meet with the elders and/or the pastor to determine the faith of the individual and, as with children, the Session will act on the request.
